In an emphatic manner, he builds visual narratives about geographical, historical, and cultural regions in Asia. Hsu’s films have been screened recently at international film festivals, including the 55th Venice Biennial (2013), Taipei Biennial (2012 and 2016), and the 8th Taiwan International Documentary Film Festival (2012).
