Robert Pfützner is an educationalist and conducts research with a focus on the theory and praxis of solidaric and emancipatory education. He teaches pedagogy at a vocational college and is an associate lecturer at the University of Darmstadt and the University of Hildesheim. After graduating from the University of Jena he worked as a teacher at the German School Bucharest from 2011 to 2013.
