Detlef Diederichsen is a music journalist (Spex, taz, amongst others), musician (Die Zimmermänner), music producer (FSK, Ja König Ja, amongst others), and since 2006 Head of the Department for Music and Performing Arts at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, where he founded, amongst others, the festivals Wassermusik and Worldtronics. Together with Holger Schulze he curated the festivals Evil Music, Inhuman Music, and Stupid Music within the framework of the Anthropocene Project.
